Alan is the Founder and Chairman of TXO Systems. He founded the company in 2005 and has since led it to phenomenal growth, with operations on five continents. Alan is charged with global oversight for profitability, sustained growth, quality partnerships, and ultimately the highest level of customer experience possible.
After graduating from Liverpool John Moores University, he joined Baker Hughes to train as a Geologist for Oil Exploration. Often working remotely in hostile conditions, it enabled him to learn considerable new skills in technology, allowing for a seamless move into the telecommunications industry. Alan worked in both the field and NOC environments as an engineer for fixed line SDH and DWDM transmission technologies. He became involved in the secondary telecoms market after the dot com crash, when he worked with accountancy firm Grant Thornton to sell on the assets of telcos that had suffered.
Darren is the CEO of TXO Systems Ltd. He is responsible for the TXO Systems Group Companies. His experience, knowledge and insight also supports the continued growth and success of TXO Systems globally. He joined TXO Systems in 2013 as Global Telecom and Technology Services Director and advanced to the role of CEO – EMEA & APAC in April 2015. In July 2016 Darren was appointed as Group CEO.
Darren has vast experience in the telecommunication and global supply chain delivery sectors. Prior to joining TXO Systems he was Telecoms and High Tech Logistics Director for the Bolloré Group, owners of SDV International Logistics. He has also held positions at Nokia Siemens Networks and AlanDick & Company Ltd.
Simon joined TXO Systems in 2018. He is the Group CFO and takes overall responsibility for the financial strategy and delivery of the business.
Prior to joining TXO Simon worked in businesses across a number of sectors including telecoms, music and transport both in UK and European wide roles.
Having qualified as an accountant Simon moved into corporate finance advisory and private equity investment before moving into industry as an FD/CFO. As such Simon has a breadth of experience across both corporate transactions and as a finance leader. Simon is an ACA qualified accountant and holds a degree in Accounting.
Calvin joined TXO Systems in 2011. He is the Group Finance Director and has responsibility for the management of Finance, Shipping and IT.
Prior to joining TXO Systems, Calvin worked in a number of business and market sectors, accumulating over 20 years’ experience of contributing at board level. His various roles enabled him to become a facilitator of change processes and an exponent of risk review within a growth-driven business environment with experience and knowledge of mergers, acquisitions, divestments, MBO’s and business turn-rounds. Calvin is a CIMA Qualified Accountant and holds a degree in Accounting and Finance.
Julia joined TXO Systems in 2014, bringing with her a wealth of experience in Senior Management Positions. She is responsible for TXO Systems Ltd operations and project delivery.
TXO Systems is a leading Approved Authorised Treatment Facility (AATF) centre, Julia oversees TXO Systems’ WEEE recycling activities and the development of its green supply chain, which spans five continents. Julia has recently undertaken a Wamitab (Waste Management Industry Training and Advisory Board) course and obtained a level 4 COTC (Certificate of Technical Competence) in Waste Management.
Having spent 10 years with the BBC in London, most recently as Head of Public Affairs with responsibility for producing the BBC Annual Report, Julia is a trained communications professional. Julia is also a qualified Management Accountant (CIMA) and has a BSC in Accountancy from Cardiff University.
Stephanie is responsible for overseeing the operation of TXO Systems Americas. This includes the delivery of TXO Systems Inc’s Government solutions, sales and operations. Stephanie joined TXO Systems in 2013 as a Sales Executive. Due to her aptitude she was quickly promoted into managerial positions. In September 2015 Stephanie advanced to the position of CEO, Americas.
Stephanie holds a Bachelors Degree in Marketing from the University of Maryland University College and is an Associate of Science (AS) in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Anne Arundel Community College.
Tim joined TXO Systems in 2009 as Procurement Director with responsibility for TXO’s Asset Recovery division. As the company has grown Tim has fulfilled a number of positions within the senior management team including most recently Group Optics Director. Tim’s present role is CTO which encompasses technical and strategic leadership for Group whilst maintaining product understanding across both legacy and current portfolio. Tim manages TXO’s testing facilities as well as being the person responsible for client data security. Tim has additional responsibility for the Group Marketing team. Tim has an MBA from Glasgow University (distinction) and was previously a board member of the Evening Standard Newspaper, responsible for digital publishing.
Kieran joined TXO Systems in 2013 as a Business Development Manager. Due to his abilities and insight into the Services Sales Market, in 2015 Kieran was promoted to Telecom Services Director for TXO Systems Ltd. He was responsible for the delivery and management of the TXO Systems Ltd Services Sales stream, supporting the delivery of TXO Systems Services offering in both the telecoms and enterprise markets.
Further to growing the business unit, Kieran has since been promoted again to TXO Systems Group Sales Director in January 2019 and has joined the company’s Executive Management Board. Taking responsibility for the global sales teams and revenues across the product, asset recovery and optical transceiver business units.
Prior to joining TXO, Kieran spent several years playing professional rugby and held a number of management positions in an events and media company specialising in the telecoms industry.
Emma joined TXO Systems in 2014. Emma is responsible for the delivery for the Group’s HR, Health and Safety and Quality Function. As such, Emma is responsible for maintaining TXO Systems’ ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO27001, OHSAS18001 and TL 9000 certifications. Additionally, Emma champions the TXO Systems CSR agenda of which we are rated Advance Gold Standard by EcoVadis.
Prior to joining TXO Systems, Emma worked in Senior HR positions across various sectors including Defence Communications and National Charities. Emma is a Chartered Member of the CIPD and has a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management.
